Hello everyone,

Sorry about the delay in getting this listing up. We have had a busy time moving premises, but we go there!

Anyhoo….. we have 4 lots of purple bead mixes up for grabs similar to those in the picture.

Question for this week?

Do you go to bead fairs and where?

You have until the end of Tuesday the 17th of November, so get writing !!

Please note beads may not be exact as the picture.

Just Beading Fantastic :o )

**UPDATE**

Numbers have been drawn and the winners were, DEBBIE, Jo, Stiles and Gaynor. Congratulations!!

Have been to a few local ones and love them. Great to see all the beads in the same place and actually see them in the flesh.

  2. Sam

I would love to but rarely any nearby.

  3. SFA

Haven’t done so yet, but am only just starting out in attempting to make jewellery really. Not sure there are any locally.

  4. Ali S

I’ve never seen a bead fair advertised locally. I haven’t been to any type of craft fair for years. I can’t go to small ones as there’s not enough room for my wheelchair. Hopefully next year I’ll manage to get to one of the big venue craft fairs. I bet hubby can’t wait LOL

  5. Andrea

only been to one in scotland, well a village fete on the east coast i thinkk great beads

  6. Helbels

I went to the bead fair at Kempton park this year, and will go to others if they are close enough to home

  7. renata

I would but i dont think there are any nearby / or they tend to happen when im at my weekend course!

    I love visiting bead fairs.
I went to one at Hatton Country park, which was small, but I managed to spend alot!
Recently, I went to the Artsian show at the Warwickshire Exbition centre. It wasn’t just beads but it was sponsered by beads and beyond I think! There were alot of bead sellers there, and I got some great new ideas.
Last week I went to the Hobbycraft show at the NEC, which had quite a few supplies including my favourite Pearl Girl.
This sunday I am going to a Bead Sale, which is being held at Burton Green Village Hall.
I’m like a kid in a toy shop when it comes to bead, don’t know what to look at first!!

  9. Gaynor

I’ve not done so far, but I am very tempted! Just scared that my credit card will get a little too flexible and wibble all over the place!!!!!

  10. Catherine

I go to the gem ‘n’ bead fair in newton abbot. I love it and always spend far too much money. Loads of different stalls to choose from. Just went last sat.

  11. Nadia

Unfortunately i’ve never been to one. None near my home. I was supposedto go to the SECC last month but unfortunatly had to cancel!
I’ll make it to one eventually, i hope

  12. Amethyst

I’ve only been to craft fairs, not specific bead fairs as there haven’t been any local to me. But I most definitely hope to go to one someday even if it means travelling.

  13. Debbie

Sorry, didn’t read that properly. No, there aren’t any fairs where I live, so I don’t go…

  14. paperkate

Not been to a bead fair yet! Went to the SECC craft fair recently and there were a number of beading stalls there.
So wonderful to see them for real before you buy.

  15. Emma

I have been to the stich and craft show at sandown that had a few bead stalls and them last month I went to the big bead show at sandown, it was amazing I spent all my budget and more! I will be going again next year and will savge for it as some of the deals you can get are really good.

  16. stiles

I’ve not been to a bead fair but have been stalls at craft fairs localy(kent) not the same as a beading fair but close

  17. Michelle Schneider

I haven’t been to any yet, but am planning on going to the big Bead Show in Brighton March 2010. Sounds awesome, I’ve had a look at the website too and it looks like there’s loads to offer including workshops and demonstrations. Now how cool does that sound?

  18. Jo

I’ve not been to a bead fair but it might be fun to have a browse. Mostly I get stuff ffrom catalogues, shops or individual craftspeople at general fairs/shows

  19. Maggie

I’ve been to a couple, and they are great as there are all sorts of beads you wouldn’t normally get. However there don’t seem to be that many on within easy travelling distance… which is a pity as they are as indulgent as chocolate – and more luxurious! ;)

  20. grace

would love to go to fairs if I could find the time to leaisuerly browse

  21. Caroline

I would love to go to some bead fairs, but I have never been in the right place at the right time yet ;-)

  22. Gill

Now that does sound fun. Would make a change from my Invertebrate shows :P
Might even meet a few fellow posters from here.
I’ll have to start looking out for ones near me.

  23. DEBBIE

I do visit fairs when I can and save up and buy loads of stuff. I love it !

  24. Kerri-Ann

I have never been to one, but would love to one day :-)

  25. Debbie S

OOOOhhhh! My favourite colour and those ones are divine!!! I would love these!
